This Privacy Policy explains how GlowSpace collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, AI beauty assistant, and related services (together, the "Service"). GlowSpace provides beauty, skincare, haircare, and aesthetic information through an AI-powered chat experience. This Policy does not replace any separate privacy notice provided by a third-party service you choose to use with GlowSpace.

By using the Service, you understand that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is intended for adults in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and handled under this U.S.-focused Policy.

We collect information you provide, information generated by your use of the Service, and information from service providers that help us operate GlowSpace.

• Account and authentication information. If you sign in, we may collect identifiers such as your email address, name, avatar, authentication provider, and related account metadata.
• Profile information. You may provide information such as display name, ZIP code, birth year, and personalization preferences. Birth year is used to confirm eligibility for the Service. Some profile fields are optional, but may help personalize the experience when enabled.
• Chat content. We collect prompts, questions, uploaded content, AI responses, chat titles, model information, and related conversation records so the Service can provide chat history, continuity, safety controls, and support.
• Images and attachment information. If you upload an image, the image content may be processed to generate a response. We may retain related metadata, such as file type, file name, dimensions when available, and associated chat records. We do not recommend uploading images that contain sensitive information unrelated to your beauty question.
• Health-adjacent and sensitive information you choose to submit. Your beauty questions, aesthetic concerns, skin or hair details, photos, or other content may reveal health-related, biometric-adjacent, or sensitive information. Please do not submit medical records, government identifiers, financial information, or other highly sensitive information that is not needed for your question.
• Usage, device, and log information. We may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, error logs, security events, advertising measurement events, and usage-limit events.
• Cookies and session data. We and our providers may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, session management, preferences, analytics, advertising measurement, and service operation.

We use information for standard business and product purposes, including to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
• authenticate users and manage accounts, profiles, chat history, and sessions;
• generate AI responses and personalize responses when personalization is enabled;
• enforce usage limits, detect abuse, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot errors;
• analyze and improve the Service, including reliability, safety, and user experience;
• measure advertising performance and completed account registrations;
• communicate with you about the Service, support, security, or policy updates;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

GlowSpace uses third-party providers to host, secure, authenticate, analyze, and operate the Service. We may also send your prompts, chat context, uploaded content, profile context, and related technical data to AI model providers and infrastructure vendors so they can process requests and return responses.

These providers may process information on our behalf under their own security, retention, and legal obligations. We do not control every aspect of third-party provider systems, and we recommend avoiding submission of information you do not want processed by AI or infrastructure providers.

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us provide hosting, database, authentication, AI processing, analytics, support, security, advertising measurement, and similar services.
• Legal, safety, and compliance. We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or enforce our agreements.
• Business transfers. Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.
• With your direction or consent. We may share information when you ask us to do so or otherwise consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. Where advertising measurement is enabled, we may share limited online identifiers and internet or electronic activity information with advertising partners such as Meta to measure ad performance and support cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not send chat prompts, uploaded images, treatment concerns, birth year, ZIP code, profile fields, or other sensitive health-adjacent content to advertising partners. This section applies to California residents to the extent California privacy laws apply to GlowSpace. We collect and use the categories of personal information below for the purposes described in this Policy.

• Identifiers, such as name, email address, account ID, IP address, and authentication provider information.
• Account and profile records, such as display name, ZIP code, birth year, personalization preferences, and support-related information.
• Internet or electronic activity information, such as session data, chat activity, log data, security events, pages viewed, and approximate device or browser information.
• Visual and electronic content, such as images you upload, messages you send, AI responses, and related attachment metadata.
• Approximate location information, such as ZIP code or IP-derived approximate location when available.
• Inferences, such as personalization context or broad age bands derived from profile information when personalization is enabled.
• Sensitive personal information, such as account access information handled through our authentication providers and health-adjacent or appearance-related information you choose to include in chats or images.

We collect these categories from you, your device, authentication providers, AI and infrastructure providers, and other service providers. We use them to provide, personalize, secure, debug, monitor, improve, and enforce the Service; comply with law; and protect GlowSpace, users, and others. We may disclose these categories to service providers, legal or safety recipients, business transfer recipients, or others with your direction or consent. Where enabled, we may also disclose limited online identifiers and internet or electronic activity information to advertising measurement partners as described above.

We retain each category for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing chat history and account features, security, compliance, support, dispute resolution, and backup retention. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California privacy law.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, keep chat history available, maintain security and abuse-prevention records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain backups. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

If you request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify eligible information, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, and operational retention needs.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing of your personal information. California residents may also have rights under California privacy laws, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing or sales of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

You can update some profile information in your account. To make a privacy request, contact us at support@glowspace.xyz with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

GlowSpace is intended only for users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the chat experience. If a user indicates they are under 18, access to chat will be blocked. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information to GlowSpace, we will take appropriate steps to delete or disable the information as required by law. If you believe a minor has provided information to GlowSpace, please contact us.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

GlowSpace and its service providers may process and store information in the United States and other locations. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to places that may have different data protection laws than your location.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating the date above or providing notice through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an update means the updated Policy applies.
